ELIGIBILITY STATEMENT
The PUL is open to any female, nonbinary, genderqueer, genderfluid, intersex, or transgender person age 18 or older.
While there exist gender and age requirements in terms of playing on a PUL team, PUL shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender expression*, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status. Additionally, there is no requirement for a specific level of estrogen, hormone replacement therapy prescription, or gender affirmation surgery in order to be eligible for the league.
*Note: Gender expression is the outward expression of one’s gender (feminine, masculine, both, neither, something new). As opposed to gender identity, which is an internal understanding of how one identifies.
