TRYOUT FEE: We are using a sliding scale for registration fees. This model is attributed to Both/And and Resource Generation.
Our fee levels have increased this year and we want to be transparent about this. As many in the ultimate community are aware, reserving indoor field spaces during prime time around the Twin Cities is a difficult and costly endeavor. With our projected attendance numbers for our 2025 Tryouts, we have done our best to set fee levels in a way that would allow us to break even on the necessities for tryouts (field space, sports health specialist, water, etc). We continue to consider and balance the financial health of our organization and participants of all levels as we strive towards providing the highest level professional athletic opportunities for women and gender expansive ultimate players.

Redistribution Rate
($75) - Redistribution means ‘paying your fair share’ for individuals who have had structural advantage and access to wealth. This rate helps to offset for individuals who pay the Solidarity Rate.
Full Rate
($60) - This rate represents the ‘true cost’ at which we would break even after paying our expenses.
Solidarity Rate
($45) - This rate is an attempt to be in solidarity with individuals who are surviving. We recognize that in some cases this rate may still not be accessible, and we encourage anyone to get in touch if that is the case.

(OPEN) January 4, 2025 from 10:00am - 1:00pm | URW Sports Field Complex at the University of Minnesota
(CLOSED) January 25, 2025 from 6:00 - 9:00pm | URW Sports Field Complex at the University of Minnesota
Anyone is welcome at open tryouts. Closed tryouts are invite-only. If you are unable to make either of the open tryouts, please contact Strike leadership at mnstrikeultimate@gmail.com.
